Phoenix Contact Cyber Security organized the 6th International mGuard User Conference and Symposium on the 29th and 30th of September in Amsterdam. Hudson Cybertec was invited to hold a presentation during the conference.
The topic of the mGuard User Conference was “industrial cyber security“. More than 200 mGuard users and selected guests from over a dozen European countries attended the two-day conference. The attendees were invited to expand their cyber security knowledge by attending various presentations. During the two days, attendees were also encouraged to share knowledge and experiences with each other. Phoenix Contact Cyber Security showcased its own products and services by discussing several real-life-cases.
Hudson Cybertec, the Subject Matter Expert on IEC 62443, opened the second day of the conference by presenting “The evolving ICS security standard: a practical take on IEC 62443”. During this presentation Hudson Cybertec highlighted the different parts of the internationally accepted standard. Furthermore, the presentation showed that the different parts allowed end-users, system integrators and vendors to speak one common IACS (Industrial Automation & Control Systems) cyber security language. The presentation was well received by the attendees.
After the closing presentation by the organization, the attendees left the conference with expanded knowledge of IACS cyber security.
