Hudson Cybertec, cyber security solution provider for the critical infrastructure, has been awarded the assignment to execute a Cyber Security Analysis for the Dvalin tie-in to the Heidrun platform. Aibel awarded the contract to Hudson Cybertec.
Cyber Security Analyse
The assignment for the Cyber Security Analysis includes several cyber security studies and a Risk and Vulnerability Analysis of the Dvalin tie-in. Hudson Cybertec will be working in close cooperation with Aibel to perform the analysis and act upon the results.
The Dvalin tie-in
The Dvalin tie-in will receive the production from the Dvalin field that has a subsea production system. The recoverable reserves for this field are estimated at around 18,2 billion cubic meters gas and 0,4 million cubic meters of condensate. The tie-in on the Heidrun platform will consist of two modules, totaling 4,800 tons. Aibel will build the modules that will be added to the existing Heidrun platform. Aibel will also take care of all platform modifications that are necessary to connect the new modules to the existing infrastructure
Heidrun platform
The Dvalin field is located in the Norwegian Sea, 15 km North West of the Heidrun platform, which is 175 km from Kristansund. The Heidrun platform is the world’s largest concrete TLP platform, at a water depth of 350 meters. Operator of the platform is Statoil.
The four wells subsea template will connect the Dvalin gasfield to the Heidrun platform, where the gas will be partly processed in the new modules. The gas will then be transported to the Nyhamna onshore gas terminal for further processing and transportation to the European market.
