Hudson Cybertec takes part in Dare2Cross event during Cyber Security Week 2017

The Hague, 25 September – The event Dare 2 Cross: ‘offshore / energy meets cyber security’ takes place in the Cyber Security Week in The Hague on the 28th September. During this event there will be several presentations about cyber security for offshore and energy companies. Hudson Cybertec is part of this event and give a presentation about how to improve cyber resilience on existing operations technology networks.

(Cyber) Security is one of the most important challenges currently facing the Offshore & Energy industry. Furthermore the strong development of the (cyber)security technologies offers new threats, but simultaneously creates new opportunities for the development of new services and monitoring. However at the same time, businesses are stating that increasing awareness and collaboration is necessary in order to develop sustainable solutions.

Dare 2 Cross
InnovationQuarter developed Dare2Cross to stimulate innovation by bringing organisations from different industries together. To look beyond the border of their own industry. To learn from the approach and solutions in other industries. To join forces in taking up a challenge.  Goal of this Dare2Cross program is to increase awareness for possible threats and possibilities of protecting critical offshore and energy infrastructures from cyberattacks. And secondly to encourage cross-sectoral collaborations between industries to develop future applications and solutions.
