The Hague, September 13th, 2019 – In October, the fourth edition of the Cyber Security Week (CSW) will take place in The Hague during the European Cyber Security Month. Important events of the CSW are the International One Conference and the Europol-INTERPOL cybercrime conference. The training: Cyber Security for Industrial Automation & Control Systems, based on the international standard IEC 62443, will be organized by Hudson Cybertec.
There is a strong growing need for ICS professionals that have sufficient knowledge of cyber security, within technical or process automation environments, to make the right decisions. Hudson Cybertec has been organizing this training within Europe for the past 3 years, both in-company and through open registration, with great success. The cyber security training course has been developed in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Standardization Institute (NEN) and for a target audience of anyone involved in production- & process-installations as well as building automation. Due to popular demand, an extra training, with focus on the end-user, has been scheduled especially for CSW 2019, which is a great opportunity for international visitors of the CSW. This training is also of interest to anyone interested or involved in the development of smart industry, Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, IoT or IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things).

Hudson Cybertec’s contribution to this event will be organizing the “Cyber Security for Industrial Automation & Control Systems” training. This 3-day training takes place from October 15th-17th, followed by an optional certification exam on October 18th.
During the three-day program participants will become familiar with relevant cyber security terminology, get an excellent understanding of the IEC 62443 Standard and learn to apply new knowledge and skills in their organization. In addition, the training course is designed with the current EU guidelines and legislation in mind. The legislation concerns the ability of the organization to demonstrate possession of cyber security knowledge for the technical domain (IACS).
