The world around us is changing. Not only at home and in IT, but also within the process domain. With the increasing degree of automation, machines & installations are becoming more complex. As a result, the dependence on these systems is increasing as well. And also on the specialists who implement and maintain these systems.
During the production & process event in the Netherlands on January 28th, Hudson Cybertec presented the evolution of systems in production & process automation, and cyber security risks involved.
By using a Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) based on the industrial IEC 62443, these cyber security risks can be managed. With some practical examples, Hudson Cybertec provided the visitors with some means to directly address cyber resilience within their own organizations.
Just as companies change and technology evolves, cyber security threats develop at the same pace. Due to these evolving threats, methods to uphold cyber resilience were also addressed.
